From 2022-2023, the Elmwood Park Neighborhood Association worked with Historic Columbia to develop and launch an online Neighborhood History Tour. The research was completed by our neighbor and Historic Columbia Director of Preservation, John Sherrer.

The tour is comprised of eight sections:

4. Places of Rest & Worship

5. Stylish Living

6. For a Better Neighborhood

7. Leisure & Learning

8. Quality Goods & Service

This project was made possible by generous funding from the Richland County Conservation Commission, an ACTION Grant from the City of Columbia, and through our annual Halloween 5k fundraiser.
