Cardinal Joseph Bernardin (1928-1996) lived on Wayne Street during his childhood. An American Cardinal in the Catholic church, Cardinal Bernadin was an Archbishop of Cincinnati and, later, an Archbishop of Chicago.

Constantine "Gus" Manos (b. 1938) lived on Price Street during his childhood. Mr. Manos is an accomplished photographer with works in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; the Art Institute of Chicago; the Bibliothéque Nationale, Paris; George Eastman House, Rochester, NY; the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; and the Benaki Museum, Athens.

Paul Livingston represents District Four on the Richland County Council. Mr. Livingston grew up in Elmwood Park and went to the Boys Club on Park Street. He has served on County Council for over 20 years, and currently lives on Park Street.

William Price Fox (1928-2015) grew up on Wayne Street during the depression. He writes about Wayne Street in Chapter 11 of Columbia Memoriess of a City. He wrote Southern Fried and Doctor Golf contributed to publications such as Sports Illustrated, the Los Angeles Times, USA Today and Atlantic Monthly.
